If you’re like us here at Biggers Mitsubishi, the Lancer EVO X is probably one of your favorite vehicles of all time. Take not that we said “vehicles” and not just simply “sports cars.” The Lancer is nothing short of a classic. But all good things must come to an end, and it’s now time for the Lancer to drive off into the horizon.
However, before it’s all over, though, we’ll get to see a couple limited production runs of the beautiful Lancer Final Edition—Mitsubishi’s love-letter-like goodbye to the popular model. The Final Edition, which will first hit the market in Japan, impresses right from the first glimpse of its amped-up exterior. It has a new black chrome grille, black trim all around, and a wicked rear spoiler.
As far as performance goes, the Final Edition is no 500-horsepower monster, but it does manage to tweak and improve the vehicle’s formula. For example, it has Bilstein shocks, Brembo brakes, special new wheels, and more to give you the best driving experience possible.
Mitsubishi will only make 1,000 of these Final Edition models for Japan, and we expect a similar-sized run here in the States. Check back with us on the blog for more updates on the Lancer’s availability soon. Also, come see us to check out all the excellent vehicles in our inventory—especially the brand-new Outlander—today.
