The updated Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is on its way to UK dealerships, and it’s sporting a powertrain with better all-electric mileage, faster charging, and more performance options, making it even more fun to drive.
The Outlander PHEV has always been one of the most diverse SUVs on the road, bringing together unbeatable efficiency and eco-consciousness with sporty, powerful performance and tons of features.
The new model still delivers luxurious cabin materials, convenient technologies like the 360-degree rearview camera, and smartphone integration, along with an improved powertrain.
Its battery power has increased by 15 percent and 10kw, improving its horsepower, torque, and fuel economy. The updated Outlander PHEV boasts an electric range of up to 28 miles, and the battery can charge to 80 percent in just 25 minutes, so it’s easy to commute to work or the grocery store without ever switching to fuel.
And that’s not all — the gas engine also received an upgrade, going from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder to a 2.4-liter. The new Outlander PHEV can tow up to 1,500 pounds. With muscle like that, you can haul a small trailer, bring a boat for family vacations, or help your family and friends move.
