Fall is one of our favorite times of year here at Biggers Mitsubishi. It’s full of fun festivals, pumpkin picking, tasty treats, and family-friendly activities. Read on to learn about a few fall festivals that we recommend around Elgin.
Visit St. Charles on the weekend of Oct. 5-7 for the 33rd Annual Scarecrow Fest. This festival is bursting with family-friendly activities. You can make your own scarecrow, vote on your favorite scarecrow of the festival, and marvel at the over 100 handmade and mechanical scarecrows on display. You can also browse the arts and crafts show, enjoy live musical entertainment, and take a spin on some carnival rides. Admission is free, so you won’t want to miss out!
The Naperville Oktoberfest attracts tons of visitors year after year for its unique Oktoberfest experience and celebration of the community’s heritage and history. The festival will run Oct. 5-6 and feature live music (including classic German oompah music), German beer, and German cuisine.
The very same weekend — Oct. 5-7 — the Batavia Oktoberfest will take place. Located on North River Street within the beautiful river community of Batavia, Batavia Oktoberfest will feature authentic German food, beer, music, and entertainment. Oct. 7 is Oktoberfest Family Day, so head to the festival then for a full day of family fun!
